I'll try to work on that and phrase stuff carefully to not get anyone so hot. I keep forgetting there are some sensitive feelings on RCG. But, somehow that came across to you again as some kind of HH attack. BUT, plenty of others that would love to see a 6s/70mm version. So, my point I was getting at on FB that also seemed to wad up some britches, was just that the FW 90mm F22 has been out a couple years already and the folks in that market are pretty happy with it. It just splits the potential customers in half. I have never understood trying to compete directly with another offering. I, as well as countless others, rave about the 90mm Freewing F22. I mean, where are the Eflite F4 and Havoc now?Īs for 90mm/8s offerings from MRC. I also keep my planes for a long time, so planes (and spare parts) not being discontinued at a rapid pace is possibly another reason I look MRC's way at times. maybe that's when MRC and Freewing got my attention. Freewing and FMS had a big head start and y'all had nothing to offer customers. If you want to be honest, you know better than anyone that HH was way late to the EDF market. If I am a MRC fanboy, it's because when I got into EDFs, they were the biggest in that market and HH had ZERO EDF offerings at that time. As stated before, I have all kinds of planes from HH, FMS, MRC, and HK. And, I'll even keep my Avios Grand Tundra as well because, as previously stated, I love STOL.Īs for the rest of that soap box session, you sure make some strong assumptions and big generalizations for someone in marketing. RIGHT? I love STOL and plan on having both myself for the exact reason you just stated. Perhaps go back and read again maybe? All I said was it is the season of STOL! I am truly sorry to get some britches all wadded up over such a simple statement.

in particular (while our products are sold through thousands of hobby shops worldwide and the vast majority of their customers don't participate on web forums, etc.).Īnd don't forget, you're the one who self-titled/proclaimed to be an "MRC fanboy" on HobbySquawk (MRC's own web forum).which you now say was "just for fun." Yet, well after doing so, started a thread for their latest product announcement and proceeded to link to it in an official thread for an E-flite product that was generating considerably more interest.in hopes of gaining added attention for their release ( because you and other fanboys seemingly believe it's superior.even though myself and many others don't consider them to be all that similar really, and to likely appeal to very different customers overall with only a relatively small overlap in them).

And that, due to their D2C online-only sales business model, a significantly disproportionate number of Motion and HK customers participate on web forums, social media, etc. don't understand that what's posted online represents a single digit to an extremely low double digit percentage of the RC air market as a whole. You're not alone when it comes to C) though.quite a few others who frequent RCG, HS, FB, etc. I suspect A) is not the case, B) you may think but you most definitely don't, and that C) most likely is the case. Which means A) you must know MRC's actual sales numbers, B) think you know ours and how they compare to MRC's, and/or C) believe what you read on web forums and social media represents the majority of the market. No worries.you won't likely be interested in buying it, and will surely find a way to compare it negatively to a Freewing/MRC 8S 90mm offering because you clearly know the market much better than I and others at HH do.
